"Strong Enough" received favorable opinions from tunes critics. Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet stated that the music "is going to be as great for the distressed" as Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Endure".[two] Michael Gallucci from AllMusic wrote that "Cher herself just moves with the defeat factory with just one drab vocal range, blending butt-shaker."[four] Randy Cordova with the Arizona Republic described the tune as a "thumping retro-disco tune".[5] Larry Flick from Billboard wrote that it "picks up correct wherever "Consider" still left off." He pointed out that the "retro-disco" track is "irresistibly catchy, jubilant as being a prayer revival, and an ideal here husband or wife as kids put together to buddy up with radio as school finishes up. Almost everything about this anthemic track is apparent from the very first pay attention: Cher is yet again in peak form, established before a string-laden, thump-delighted beat that may have people tapping toes and snapping fingers from Maine to Minnesota.
"Strong Enough" is often a read more song by American recording artist Cher from her 22nd studio album, Consider (1998). The song was launched as the second one through the album on February 22, 1999, by Warner Audio. The song's composition and musical type is strongly reminiscent of 1970s disco audio.
However it wasn't profitable while in the US right up until it acquired much more airplay pursuing the discharge of promotional remixes. The tune, together with "Consider", is now considered one of her most thriving songs up to now.
Several months right after the release of the initial songs movie for Strong Enough, Dan-O-Rama (best noted for his work remixing movies) made the "vocal club edit" online video for this tune.
